I could be at the beach; the sound of the wind blowing through the pine trees reminds me of waves crashing. Cockatoos screech overhead. The normal bustle of the day is yet to begin; my neighbours are still asleep. The sun is still rising, the heat building, quickly. It will be a hot day.
